The heart of worship at Central is giving honor and glory to the Lord. We seek to humble ourselves and present our worship to Him in response for all He has done for us. We meet together as broken sinners offering praise to the Lord for the magnificent grace that he has shown us! We worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24), with reverence and awe (Hebrews 12:28-29), using psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs (Colossians 3:16). Our worship teams are led by Nick Weaver, our Music and Media Pastor and our Worship Associate, Jessica Bennett.
Worship teams
Choir
The choir leads worship at both the 9:00 & 10:30 AM services. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7:15-8:30 PM in the Music Suite.
Orchestra
The orchestra, an auditioned group of musicians that play brass, woodwinds, strings, and percussion, leads worship at the 9:00 & 10:30 AM services. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7:15-8:30 PM Worship Center.
Worship Band
The band, an auditioned group of musicians that play guitars, drums, and keyboards, leads in both the 9:00 & 10:30 AM services.
Vocal Team
The vocal, an auditioned group of musicians that sing, team leads in both the 9:00 & 10:30 AM services.
Each week our tech team ensures that our worship services run smoohtly and distraction free by providing support in the areas of audio, video, lighting, ProPresenter/image maginification, and setup/teardown. If you have interest in serving in any of these areas please contact Trevor Bennett.
